Research focus (interest) and Specialization
Ms. Aika is an agricultural economist specializing in agricultural marketing especially in market accessibility and market information. Her research is based on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Ms. Aika is also peer reviewer and advisor editor in Agrekon and Cogent food and agriculture journals respectively. Her research interests include the economic and environmental sustainability of agriculture, gender dynamics, global food and agricultural markets, natural resource economics, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
