College of Economics and Business Studies (CoEBS) conducted regular postgraduate seminars in october 28th MSc class, where two PhD students presented their work.
Mr. Haji Msangi a PhD student presented his paper on “Determinants of land tenure formalization under customary and statutory land tenure systems in Tanzania”. Mr. Msangi is supervised by Dr. Ndyetabula and Dr. Wyzed from Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (DAEA). Prof. Kadigi from Department of Trade and Investment (DTI) was the discussant.
Ms. Thedy Kimbi presentation was on the Effect of brewing industry contract farming on smallholder sorghum farmers’ market participation in selected regions in Tanzania. She is supervised by Dr. Fulgence Mishili and Dr. Christopher Magomba from Deparment of Agriculture Economics and Agribusiness (DAEA) and Department of Trade and Investment (DTI) respectively. Dr. Elibariki Msuya was the discussant.
Ms. Kimbi presenting methods that will used when addressing research questions
