INVITATION TO SHORT COURSE ON Marketing Skills
DATE: 24th and 25th June, 2019
VENUE: COEBS Conference Room, SUA, Morogoro.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
A very big challenge of producers today is not the production of goods and services but where to sell such products and services. Many producers of goods and services today cry for the markets for their produce. The inability in the knowledge and skills of understanding who are their customers and the means of satisfying them deprive them of the best application of the market mix thus tempted to rely on middlemen. Lack of skills in deciding what and how to produce, what price to set, the means of reaching customers, promoting the products and services, what types, skills and quality of employees to acquire, delivering to the consistence quality standards and feedback on customer’s experience of products/ services among others affects many entrepreneurs. Customers are the most important people in your business. If you do not provide what they want, at a price that they are willing to pay, and treat them with respect, they will buy somewhere else. Without customers there will be no sales and your business will have to close down. This course will give skills in marketing to enable participants win in the competitive market.
