NANENANE DAY
The farmers’ festival known as Nanenane is celebrated across the country on August 8 every year. The event is being organized and coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Cooperatives in collaboration with the Tanzania Agricultural Association (TASO) and involves Institutions, Ministries and individuals engaged in agriculture.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Hon. Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi was the guest of honour at the Nanenane East Zone opening day Exhibition AUGUST 1, 2020. He visited the School of Agricultural Economics and Business studies (COEBS) under Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) pavilion. He also had a privilege to see agricultural products produced by agro-entrepreneurs from PASS and SUGECO.
Hon. Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi commended the work being done by Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in improving Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to bring productivity to the Nation
