This article enlightens about the effect of COVID 19 on the traditional export crops like coffee, cotton and cashew nuts in the world markets. The report was prepared by Mr. Elias Msuya from the Citizen newspaper. Agricultural experts such as Prof. K. D. Mutabazi from Department of Food and Resource Economics (DeFRE), School of Agricultural Economics and Business Studies who explained on the challenges which can be tackled in coffee, cotton, cashew nut and horticulture.
